Achat Riesling

Great mineral intensity. A bit fruity for laible.

You don't drink laible for awhile. And you forget. The profundity. Nose is like perfume that is actually wear and I don't wear perfume. I can't describe it. How would you describe a lilac if you'd never smelled one ? The nose is borderline a nasal assault. Palate is crazy. Awesome mid weight. Almost tastes ten years old. Oddly wonderful. Hints of citrus, green apple, tea. Juicy. Profound. Man this is crazy. Not an avalanche. But pro found (two words). Lingers on the palate. I doubt this is a top ten producer in a shotgun lineup but over the course of an evening damned well is. Truly contemplative. Bought from Fass selections.

Not quite over the hill, but I’m afraid that this bottle is reaching the tail end of its drinking window. The color has become light amber, and there are definitely some nutty notes. That said, still a lovely fresh glass of Riesling. 

Interesting Riesling. (Misleading) nose of cotton candy. On the palate much different, with some peachy notes, wet rocks, and a bit of bitter aftertaste.

Very nice right now. Honeysuckle, honeyed peach, lime, lime flower. On the palate, fantastic acidity and density, with lime, crushed wet stone. Good length. Yum.
