Oregon Pinot

King Estate

Acrobat Rosé of Pinot Noir 2021

This pale pink wine has a nose of strawberries, green parts and all. It is a fresh and lively aroma, one that invites the sip deliciously. The palate shows more strawberries, along with some stone fruit and a hint of salinity. The acidity is refreshing and will make for good food pairings across a wide range of dishes. — 5 days ago

La Source Seven Springs Pinot Noir 2013

translucent garnet, watery rim; aromatics develop slowly, wild berries, dried cranberry, orange peel, mushrooms, hints of pine needles; light to medium body, dry, medium+ acidity, light tannin, 12.6% ABV; aged 16 months in 30% new French oak; a respectable and balanced wine from the rainy and uneven 2013 vintage — 9 days ago

Weber Vineyard Rose Pinot Gris 2019

Nice lively, balanced, low ABV skin contact rose…. Summer sipping indeed. Cranberry, rhubarb, plum… with some nice earthy undertones. I love Oregon wines. — 6 days ago

Illahe

Willamette Valley Pinot Gris

This one is one with the soil from which it comes much like a wine you might hope for on an evening in Burgundy. I was very surprised to get that impression with this CA Lodi Pinot that is in fact earthy but finely done. Hand picked grapes, basket pressed… interesting for sure! — a day ago

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2020

Medium Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of currants, pepper and cinnamon spice and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak, fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla oak character. Very nice. — a day ago

Very pale salmon in color.

Light to medium in body and fresh, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing raspberries, limes, citrus, green apples, light grapefruits and bitter herbs.

This is a tasty Rosé from Oregon. Nicely balanced with a nice crisp mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food.

Breaking Ground Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir 2015

I am tasting the 2018 vintage. Beautiful complex scent of black tea, wood, bacon, potpourri, wet autumn leaves. On the taste, very tart cherry, eucalyptus, black tea, almost a bit of bone marrow. Highly tannic and astringent. Mushroom finish. — 5 days ago

Willamette Valley Unfiltered Pinot Noir 2012

This is the 2012 J. Christopher Willamette Valley Unfiltered Pinot Noir from Newberg, Oregon.

On the nose is bright cherry, strawberry, cranberry, clove, vanilla, sweet oak, barnyard funk, cinnamon and soil.

Onnthe palate I found cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cola, mushroom, hibiscus, black tea, spice and earth.

This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and fine supple tannins that leaves you with a long red fruit dusty soil finish. This weekend looks to be a good one. Go out and enjoy yourselves and try some nice wines. Stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Jessie James Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Pommard? Nope, Oregon.
N: lots of brown spice, Rhubarb, walks in the woods over fall leaves, brown sugar, a bit of pepper. You could huff this a longgg time.
P: Luscious going in, Big bright cherries and mineral, sapid, really sticky but not sweet, nice acidity, tuck some away if ya got.,Should be an ager. Better on day 2, more fruits, less cinnamon on the nose.
thanks @Fasselections.
