Ruby color, slight purple edges, with aromas of red fruits, forest floor, floral and smoky spice, aged in 50% new French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with cedar notes, tea, cola, black pepper, cinnamon spice and earthy herbs, very complex. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and a spicy earthy character. Needs more bottle time, will age well! Pair this with a grilled salmon or maple glazed pork chop! — 2 months ago
Had on its own. Consistent taste for the full bottle. Peppery with a bit of cigar box. Velvety smooth! When held on the tongue some fruit, particularly cherry, comes through. Excellent wine. — 4 days ago

As many others have shared (some quite eloquently) this is a very delightful wine. — a month ago
1994 vintage. Trick or treat. Decanted and tasted multiple times over two hours. Light-medium body. Fantastic, old-school BDX nose. Somewhat linear as someone else proffered but still plenty of life. At least another half-decade in this place. Was just missing a little fruit in the front/mid-palates. Cork was solid but juice tasted like a second bottle might have some variation on the positive side. May find out sooner rather than later. 10.31.23. — a month ago

Twin’s 6th Birthday Party. Always great! Medium gold color. Similar to previous notes. Drink sooner rather than later. — 16 days ago
