Singing. The deepest red cherry nose, black and red fruits, iron ore, bay leaf, pink peppercorn, Mediterranean herbs. Raisin, leather and the smell of the desert. Very suave palate, weightless yet substantial, tart and sweet in the right measures. Resonant finish. Toes the line between modern and traditional. — 8 days ago
An excellent red blend. Rich and full-flavored. The wine is drinking great right now. Although I paired it with two dishes that weren’t perfect - Mediterranean chicken one night and Chicken Bellagio the other - it was a joy. — a month ago
perfume of dark berries, fig, baking spices & tobacco ~ the dark berry flavors lean a touch jammy but are in check by a quick pop of crunchy red fruit, some Asian spices, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs ~ plush mouthfeel w soft dry finish ~ lovely #SuperTuscan to follow next 15 yrs! — 2 months ago
Wonderful red wine from the hills in front of the Ligurian Sea.
Mediterranean erbs, tangerine, pine resin... lot of things all in a glass.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black plums, black cherries, black currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco leaf, coke, dark roast coffee, earth, light vegetables and pencil lead.
Long finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Pinotage from South Africa. Drinking very nicely now, with a great mouthfeel. Shows nice complexity and good by itself or with food.
Needs 3 hours to open up properly and show some tannins, so be patient.
This 8 year old is peaking now. I've had this vintage 5 years ago, and decided to let it mature for a while. What a great call, as it made such a big difference.
Rich and expressive. Tasty and interesting. Just Delicious.
I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Time for a nicely aged Moscato for #AgedWineTuesday.
This is a delicious 14 year old, Moscato from Paso Robles. Showing ripen apples and citrus fruits, cooked oranges, honey, melons, tropical fruits, peaches, light vanilla, bananas, apricots, guava, tangerines, mediterranean spices and black pepper.
Sweet on the palate and nicely balanced, with high acidity to balance it out.
Full bodied with great complexity and a nice mouthfeel.
Long finish with tangy lemons.
Loved the nose, but the palate is much more interesting and tasty. Usually it's the other way for me.
