Invitation Brut Champagne Blend

Lemon drop champagne. Great stuff. Ridiculous acid, so nice. Great wine to have around for any occasion. — 9 days ago

Bérêche & Fils

Brut Réserve Champagne Blend

Popped and poured; no formal notes. A very pretty straw color with a persistent mousse. Lemon meringue, raspberries, almond croissant, and pink flowers. Powerful. The finish is rich and long. Particularly lovely with a little air and some food. These wines from Bérêche…wow. Disgorged 7/2019. — 11 days ago

Expression Brut Nature 1er Cru Champagne Blend Rosé 2017

Savart’s most limited production Champagne made from 100% old vine Pinot Noir with a mere ~400 bottles produced. Visually, I continue to double take at this wine as it barely appears Rosé. It’s intensely perfumed, floral and deeply aromatic, with a precise, taut and linear palate that screams purity and and elegance. A very singular, vinous and most importantly delicious Rosé Champagne that there will never be enough of! ☺️ — 15 days ago

Vilmart & Cie

Cuvée Rubis 1er Cru Brut Champagne Blend

Another rendition of one of my favorite wines, a most sensual and erotic wine. An alluring deep salmon rose color in the glass with nice effervescence of small bubbles. The nose immediately shows as sweet, sweeter than I would expect but that soon dissipates. Strawberries up front with red cherries and a touch of apple. Crushed herbs and mild spice after some time. There’s a floral aspect here that’s outstanding, as well.

So many rosé champagnes are so similar in ambition and execution that it’s nice to find something that’s a marked step above. 90/10 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay and disgorged in October of 2019 with a dosage of 9 g/l. Nervy and thrilling, it’s an exciting champagne that doesn’t skimp on power. Good balance and structure with a vinous nature. Playful and teasing, without a trace of austerity.

Pure sex in the mouth with candied raspberries and more wild strawberries. Blood orange, grapefruit, and passion for days. Peaches, melons, and romance. A little chalk, a little lust. One of my favorites, year in year out.

Secret de Famille 1er Cru Brut Champagne Blend

Yummy! Lemon curd and toasty (slight vanilla) Meyer lemon. Perfectly balanced with just enough slightly sweet lemon flavor up front to mid palate then finishes clean. Love this! TBL — 5 days ago

Les Folies De La Marquetterie Brut Champagne

I have never seen this wine reviewed. From Pinot and Chardonnay surrounding Taittinger, vines owned by them, it’s delicious and a super value when CdC is out of reach. — 15 days ago

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

Yellow Label Brut Champagne Blend

This entry-level Champagne is always nice to begin the evening with.

Medium plus in body with medium plus sized bubbles and high acidity.

Showing citrus, lemons, limes, earth, black pepper, minerals and light yeast.

Tangy finish with limes and light almonds.

Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food.

Nicely balanced and easy drinking.

Very consistent through the years.

12% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

My favorite champagne! Have it every year for special occasions! Do u really think it is an “entry level” Champagne?
