Dark ruby, semi-transparent, dusty cherries in turned Earth, bramble, pepper, flowery violets and exotic spices. Med bodied, impressive balance & bearing - this was regal, an aging Aristocrat that has seen the best days recently slipped by. Still w/reservoir of fruit juxtaposed w/secondary elements. A beautiful expression of carmenere, lovely peppers with rich fruit, wrapped in soft tannins and terroir. — 3 months ago

2015 vintage Chianti Gran Selezione.
80 % Sangiovese, 13 % Merlot and 7 % Malvasia Nera.
Deep dark ruby red.
Perfumed nose with black currants, violets, olives and cocoa.
Ripe black plums, leather, black tea with polished silky tannins.
A long, beautiful finish. — 5 months ago
A nose full of minerals followed by a tender sparkling salinity surfing on fresh lemon over the palate. The aromas linger for quite a while. The alcohol gives a nice grip, but is a little bit too present on nose and palate. Wood drink again anyway. — 2 months ago
