Donna Laura

— 25 days ago

This was my first time having this wine. Interesting. Savory berry notes with a side of herbal funk. — 4 months ago

Castello di Ama

Gran Selezione San Lorenzo Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2017

Too young but still very nice with a 5h decant - suggest checking back in another 3-5 years. Tannins are very present, but the fruit and earth are very nice. Good acid too, especially for a hot vintage. — 5 months ago

Excellent young Barolo. Drinks absolutely beautifully now. Very round with nice grip at the back palate. Strawberry dominant. — a month ago

Donna Laura Bramosia

Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Typically brilliant #chianticlassico 85% #sangiovese 15% #merlot. Red / violet floral + woodsy nose, classic earthy-iron varietal aroma, bright acidity, soft tannins and a bit of roundness courtesy of the Merlot, some spice on the finish. Brilliant pairing with Chicken Paillard topped with blue cheese which brought out the spice in the wine, interestingly enough. — 2 months ago
