So young and backwards but incredible promise. — 3 years ago

Very nice wine, thoroughly enjoyed — 6 years ago
Nice long legs! Dry farming wine. Moderate tannins with a good kick of earthy flavor. Notes of veggies and fermented grass. Would buy again, very memorable. — 6 years ago
Fermented in stainless steel then 24 months in New French oak 225 liter barrels. Deep ruby with purple highlights. Pronounced aromas of stone, herbs (lavender), meat, violet, and iron, plush tannins, but very ripe and round. Meat, plum, Great elegance and length. Really terrific wine and good flexibility with food pairing — 8 years ago
Crazy good right-time-of-the-year-for-no-wood French Chardonnay, herbal and melon from nose to finish showing plenty of acid/tannic softly clinging depth front to back (even without wood), hints of some cantaloupe towards the end and a tinge of fresh raw celery throughout the drink. This wine was brilliantly paired with a groovy tart greens-based salad, at my buddy, Geoph Adams', waterfront Black Sheep, in Beaufort, NC. Don't miss his magic moment when hanging or passing through NC's middle cape, which is Lookout (Beaufort being lazy, crazy, cool). Another brilliant wine by Eric and Laure's Queen of Wines (boutique importing and distribution bringing the passion of France straight into NC) so cool!!! — 3 hours ago — 9 years ago
Very nice wine, maybe needs a few more year. Integrated tannins. Little fruit. Went great with couscous and merguez. — 6 months ago

So complex. Nose is very floral like walking in an alpine field and then there’s a light strawberry. Palate has excellent acidity with strawberries, hint of creaminess, more floral notes, tropical fruit, a bit of vegetable underlying it all. Can’t really put my finger on it. Needed some air and to be closer to room temp to open up. — 4 years ago

Classic Loire Cab Franc with a hint of funk. Huge value here. — a year ago
Bon vin qui se boit avec tout. Goûteux, pas trop sucré ni corsé, rien pour écrire à sa mère mais efficace ! Bon ratio qualité-prix. — 4 years ago
medium bodied red with a really light finish! tasty slightly cooled — 5 years ago
Here’s another smoking good southern french white. Very interesting blend and the first time I can remember seeing Carignan Blanc. Also Roussanne Grenache Blanc and Vermentino. Sulfur needs to blow off. So beautifully textured and detailed. Glides across the palate. Green apple, citrus, almond, custard/fondant/banana on the palate and a floral, carnation (?) finish. Seductive. This would be so fun to throw into a blind tasting. Love. — 6 years ago
Recently rebranded as La Roche Mère this is the most prestigious of the three wines from this property
Earthy violet, hints of chocolate and cedar. Great length and balance - this has a refinement you don't find in Argentine malbec
Exceptionally smooth tannins with enough acidity to compliment most dishes on the table. There is oak on the nose and palate but it is held in check, adding to the wine's complexity — 8 years ago

2020 vintage. Beaujolais " La Mère" from La Famille K. A delicious Gamay from 90 years old vines in the Pierres Dorées sector. Raspberries, cherries and some floral tones. Juicy red fruit with a good structure. Drinking well, but I believe this can still age. Very good value. Abv. 13%. — 3 months ago
