Dark purple color. Aromas and flavors of red plum, ripe red berries, dark chocolate, leather and freshly turned earth. Hint of dill, vanilla and smoke on the long and oaky finish. Big tannic grip but with good balance. Quite bold, rustic and burly. — 7 months ago

Really have to agree with the wine title- this seemed “textbook” Merlot. Yes, there were some dark berry flavors, strong spices and modest tannins for a young wine. Another bottle in my search to find my wife a plethora of good merlots. This will stay on our list of must drinks. — 3 years ago
