Nose: candied lemon peel. Richness. Lemon flower.

Palate: almost sweet fruit. So delicious. Balancing minerals. Elegantly rich.

Awesome nose. So so fine. Tree bark, sour cherries, a confectionery hint, mineral, barely ripe raspberries. So good. Palate is deeply fruited yet super bright and all early season cherries and sour cherries. Gorgeous purity. Sappy. Finishes mineral and firm. Ripe tannins and just the perfect hint of rusticity. Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.

Nose has (cold) cut strawberry, coconut husk, under-ripe mango, dried apricot, dried pineapple, fresh pineapple and a neutral wood aspect.
Palate has yellow cherry, pineapple core, mango+papaya smoothie with light oak influence.
Very satisfying bottle, so young still, future bottles can be 2022+ at a minimum. — 6 years ago
