A great wine. So lean and so mineral. Nose is lime rock candy, lean minerals, and some lime and lemon zest. So mineral. Palate is high acid and dazzlingly fresh with an engaging texture. Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.

Nose has (cold) cut strawberry, coconut husk, under-ripe mango, dried apricot, dried pineapple, fresh pineapple and a neutral wood aspect.
Palate has yellow cherry, pineapple core, mango+papaya smoothie with light oak influence.
Very satisfying bottle, so young still, future bottles can be 2022+ at a minimum. — 5 years ago

Big enveloping nose of ripe lemon, meyer lemon, minerals, and some earthy funk and maybe also some attractive BO? Yes, that feral human stank is there ever so slightly. Palate has huge acidity, density and structure. Gorgeously mineral and sapid and showing great complexity. Concentrated, dense and powerful. Enormous structure. Awesome. — 8 months ago

Awesome nose. So so fine. Tree bark, sour cherries, a confectionery hint, mineral, barely ripe raspberries. So good. Palate is deeply fruited yet super bright and all early season cherries and sour cherries. Gorgeous purity. Sappy. Finishes mineral and firm. Ripe tannins and just the perfect hint of rusticity.
