Good malbec. Probably needed 1.5+ to decant. — 10 days ago
Second bottle of 6…better than last, but….? Nutty, oaky notes deliver a pretty disjointed wine… very acidic( to a fault?). Not a great deal of sweetness or identifiable fruit notes. Tart, thin, racy, overly bubbly. Maybe a couple more years? Regrettably, I don’t hold out much hope. — 3 days ago

This is one beautiful wine. I opened the 2010 Château Haut-Bages Libéral. Pauillac 5th Growth Château from the Left Bank Bordeaux. The blend is 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, mocha, mint, herbs, smokey camp fire, cedar, crushed gravel and earth.
On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, black currant, herbs, smoeky oak, graphite and earth.
This is a wonderful full bodied wine with a fresh creamy mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium + mouthcoating polished tannins with a very expressive long red & black fruit graphite finish. I hope everyone's weekend has been eventful and I wish everyone a wonderful week ahead. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 days ago

Incredible big red wine that isn’t so heavy that it lingers like port but is fulfilling and balanced with oak and dark touches. Had it at Emirates lounge at LAX and I would buy a case of this! — 4 days ago
