Napa Valley Carneros Pinot Noir 2019

This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Carneros. Showing cedar, ripe raspberries, licorice, light vanilla, blueberries, sweet cherries, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.

Easy drinking and dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Nicely balanced with a nice smooth mouthfeel. Fruit forward, spicy and interesting.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Heron Lake Vineyard Chardonnay 2018

Doesn’t bowl you over with concentration but Enfield is all about subtlety and balance. Green apple, pear, slightly bitter lemon finish, not a whiff of butter or vanilla or toast in sight — 12 days ago

Jolie Estate Vineyard Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2018

Tasty red and blue fruits with a nice finish. Quite nice and would rate higher if not for its lack of structure, which makes it a drink now wine, despite its relative youth. Nice effort, but would like to see more depth of flavor, complexity and structure to support the prodigious fruit. — 6 days ago

Anthill Farms

Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2016

Last ‘16, lost luster but still ok. Fruit for this Pinot comes from 2 of the coolest, most coastal parts of this appellation, linked by the influence of the Pacific’s cool marine air, which delays ripening. Ruby with berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry with cedar notes and earthy tones. Balanced acidity, soft tannins, medium+ finish ending with tobacco and woody spice. Nice, drink now. — a day ago

Pinot Noir Wild Horse Valley Napa County 2006

Bryan was kind enough to share one of his original Pinots from 2006. Sadly the Vineyard was later sold to a financial buyer as so he had to move on. — 12 days ago

The Drippings Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Drippings= the last five gallons of each estate Pinot barrel blended into one, with a little more oak aging. I like their leaner pinots even more. — 16 days ago

Helluva Vineyard Pinot Gris Blend 2020

Refreshing, enjoyable white blend for an awesome price. Green apples, medium acidity, a little brininess, wet stone, and a hint of sharp citrus (lemon?). Really easy to drink. — 3 days ago

Redwood Valley Zinfandel 2016

Medium body. A little thin. Took a while to open up to strawberries, plums and mountain herb. Would be interested to try this aged longer. — 15 days ago

Dove Hunt Dog Potter Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Won this wine in a wine pull! Went really went with Greek marinated grilled chicken, grilled lemons, wild rice and cucumber salad. Balanced, lemony, lemon grass, not fizzy, touch of pepper and herbs- foods with lemon or herbs and this is a good choice!! — 5 days ago
