Stateside Saison

A nice head with a nose of citrus and pine, herbs d' Provence.
full bodied, yet at 6.8, not too sweet or alcoholic at all.
Searing citrus embraced by my favorite yeast - saison.
Honeysuckle round this one out.

Flow State American Wild Ale

I am an occasional beer drinker but if wine did not exist this would be my everyday drinker. Tremendous complexity combined with perfect balance. I am usually skeptical about some of these combinations but the orange bitters was just perfect. I have found sours to be the closest thing to wine with respect to complexity. Feel free to educate or criticize. — a year ago

@Ira Schwartz, if you see any in your market, I think de Garde out of Tillamook (Oregon) is the gold standard for American wild ales (it’s not Cantillon, but it’s also a lot cheaper). I saw someone mentioned Jester King, I agree they are very good, but a lot of peaks and valleys quality wise with JK. Cheers!!

Castling Farmhouse Pale Ale

Grimm is New York's hottest brewery, a "gypsy" brewery with no fixed abode. The Pale Ale is delicious. Citrus, floral, refreshing and with substance. Enjoyed at Milk and Hops, a gem of a place. — 4 years ago
