Summer peak and Fino for the wine geek, while I cross my fingers for a sunny streak.
So good, so comforting, so fresh.. like a salty sea breeze that gentle brush your cheeks. Give me two fistfulls of Marcona almonds, plain white bread and a dozen boquerons and I'll be a happy camper.
12th edition of the “en Rama” unfiltered, average five year in the Solera from a year with a “particular healthy flor”.
Fresh as a daisy, intense with a good concentration, yellow bruised apples, lemon zest, chamomille and hay with plenty of iodine, bread dough, salted nuts and chalk that is dancing around. Bone dry palate where the moderate acidity is balanced by a fresh saline structure that keeps the beat and brings nerve through a dimensional mid palate and long chalky finish.

Parece súperoxidado pero solo hasta límites que solo los maestros pueden controlar. Excelente jerez, salino y valga la redundancia un Fino muy fino, sin acidez, sin aristas, muy controlado. — 2 months ago
Into this - inexpensive everyday bottle. Weird smell tho (could be my bottle) almost.. latexy? Blackberries, liquorice, very slight smokiness and minerality — 2 months ago
Blend of 90% Palomino and 10% Pedro Ximénez, aged for 30 years. Mahogany color. Aromas of burnt caramel, hazelnuts, old furniture and hints of vanilla and raisins. Intense on the palate. Loads of hazelnuts. Great length, incredible persistence. Flavors of hazelnuts and tobacco leaves lingering for minutes — 3 months ago
Intense, sharp, saline — 3 months ago
Buttered mushrooms, light candied walnuts, and burnt toffee. Better than Lustau’s PC. — 6 months ago
