Very unusual Zin. There were hints of brambles and blackberries, but the real difference was the texture and taste—smooth as silk from the first sip straight through to the end of the finish. — 4 months ago
Sparkling strawberries, more depth than your average sparkling rosé — a month ago
Although wine may have been past its prime, it lacked a distinct aroma. It was well-balanced with relatively low tannic notes. — 3 months ago

If one Portuguese varietal grabs me it’s Baga, & this bottling is one of the higher end bottlings I’ve tried. It’s early in its development so demands decanting and/or aging, but the stuffing is all there. Ripe red cherries, medium light body, some Burgundy adjacent analogies I’m sure. — 2 months ago
Aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruit are lifted by a subtle, herbaceous breeze. The palate is vibrant and rounded, with a refreshing acidity that leads to a clean, saline-mineral finish. — 6 months ago

80% Bical, 20% Arinto. I might like their red better ( My beloved Baga) but this still stands out for its showing as a mid weight beauty, lemon curd & almond paste notes, with a strong mineral streak & some interesting fennel & herb notes at the edges. Hopefully not cursing it by saying it’s Burgundy adjacent — 4 days ago
