Honeysuckle, pear nose.
Perfect Albariño palate:) — 11 days ago
This is a well made wine. Great balance of fruit, acid, alcohol, and oak without being too pushy in any direction. Not my go-to style, but a tasty, balanced blend. — 3 days ago
Literally unreal. Sorry cherry. Need more. — 4 days ago
First time trying a Rajat Parr wine and it did not disappoint. Notes of rose petals, river rock, and even hint of strawberry. That was when we first opened the bottle. — 2 days ago
For National Zinfandel Day, here is a nice one from California.
This is a nice and spicy Zinfandel based blend from Lake County, California. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
Showing red and black fruits with chocolate notes, tobacco, light oak, earth, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and easy drinking.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself. Better once it opens up (30 minutes).
I had this vintage before, over a year ago, and it is drinking better now. A little high on alcohol so watch yourself 😉
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
A blend of 83% Zinfandel, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petite Sirah.
14.7% alcohol by volume.

Wow! Golden color. A little acidic. Honeysuckle and peach on the nose. Medium alcohol. Medium full body. Sweet but not crazy sweet. — 6 days ago
Color of dull purple, bubbly and clear. Nose of ripe cherry, almost cherry jam like, tobacco leaves, oily paint, slightly crayon, a bit oak, and some more blackberry. Nose is quite plenty and hints sweetness. Taste of follows the nose with the sweet bite from cherry and dark fruits, drizzled with soft tannins, black pepper, tobacco leaves, a bit vanilla, and medicinal note. Aftertaste is long with zest, peppery, and some herbs note. Done well. Not sure why the rating is low. — 11 days ago
Rustic in a very good way. Nose has crunchy red berries, juniper, stony gravel, and a teeny bit of leather. Forceful flavors buoyed by forceful acids, pure, zingy, cherry fruit and a chalky minerality. Some relatively soft tannin. Not an erudite, pinky-extended sipper, but a great wine for pasta night. — 11 days ago
This overdelivers in spades. Blend of Syrah, Zin, and Mourvedre - this oozes ripe blackberry, plum, and other dark fruit, campfire, roasted meat, wet concrete and earth, all with a healthy dose of American oak that just really works. Creamy and full body with medium + tannins, this doesn’t drink like a 5 year old wine at this price point, and I could be fooled into thinking this was produced by Ridge pretty easily. Few things are quite as satisfying as the rare $20 home run! — 25 days ago
love, starts funky and mellows out fast, citrus notes, fruity without being overly sweet or overwhelming the palate — 7 days ago
