Surprisingly close in style to the JJ from Martin Woods. Sweet Pinot fruit and cherry 🍒 but perhaps with an edge more to morello cherries. Build towards a drink now Burgh. 13.5%. I must say in the end after trying gazillion of burghs, Oregon and Cali Pinots. And lots of wine from Baden. The German - Enderle & Moll Pinots are the only Pinot which can hold my interest for longer than any other producer in the world. — 5 days ago
where to even begin. feels silly to claim any producer as a "favorite" but how could i not? these wines speak to me on a deep deep level. i prefer the previous vintage, much more precise, touch more elegance, but the '22, a bit more broad but wildly expressive, took me to the same heights that every other enderle pinot has taken me. — 23 days ago
This is what a lot of natty wines think they are — a month ago
Tangy, my guess blind was an Enderle & Moll. — 13 days ago
Darker than the Muschelkalk with more weight. The M. is grown on Mussel based limestone. This is grown on red sandstone. Like the one used for the Cathedral in Freiburg. Much more approachable then the M. Dark cherries, turmeric, black tea, elderberry, hint black currant. I don’t know but - i just feel sorry for the many people who never had a chance to try these wines. The Muschelkalk is often limited to 1-2 barrels and the Buntsandstein to 3-4. The Liason their mid level wines are more broadly available and also very good. Will be at the winery in May for a barrel tasting. A ridiculous value for the money if you can find it. — 2 months ago
Pinotman /// Andreas
Unbeatable at this price point. Ridiculous complexity. Strawberry, black forest herbs, touch crushed marble, hint white pepper, fresh juicy acidic ripe Italien prune plums. I have no idea how they do this. — 6 days ago
