1 hour decant (some fine/cloudy sediment). A bewitching inky purplish garnet color with a touch of bricking. On the nose: expressive nose of blue fruit, pencil lead, floral, little minty menthol, touch of stewed meat. Taste: BOOM! a silky mouthfeel....creamy, smooth, rich, full body wine with blackberry, crushed stone, cedar, pepper, licorice, and a minerally blueberry loonngg finish. YUM! Gonna be a great 4th of July evening! — 19 days ago

Blackberry, plum, fresh sweet mint (subtle), dark forest fruit and a smidge of graphite. Velvety smooth, and really easy to drink. 2012 drink well in 2021. Beautiful. — 5 months ago
Nice blackberry, warm cassis and some red fruit. 3+ hrs decanting helped. — 13 days ago
Solid 9.5. Did not match up to the Maybach/Abreu/SQN last night but still excellent. Much lighter on the palate even less than than an Aubert Pinot, great aromatics, classic Cab flavors but not the rich, dark, deep flavors of last night. — a month ago
Wow, this is ready, willing and able. What a bottle. Just awesome — 5 months ago
