Lovely summer white. Extremely floral, sweet lemon on the nose. Completely dry and not very expressive on the palate. — a day ago
Stellar. Tasted a bit over the hill at first (just a touch of raisination) but the color and tannin are from a 2015 or thereabouts. It’s continually developing. Black tea, xmas spice, black cherry, cacao nib but really dark, idk if descriptors do it justice honestly. Was worried cause of vintage/storage/reviews but this is hitting. Btw idk if delectable has it right but it’s the Michel Bonnefond bottling made by Roumier. Texture is honestly seductive — 16 days ago
Luv Schrader Cabs! A bright purplish garnet color. Nose fills the senses with dark ripe cherry and plum fruits, vanilla, spice and lingering menthol with a subtle hint of cedar. A wonderful full body wine!! Creamy and juicy where the dark red fruit burst in the mouth giving it a luscious feel. Other notable characteristics are the subtle chocolate espresso, spice, crushed rocks and a smoky tobacco long finish. Rutherford dusty tannins are definitely present but well integrated. Another hot evening, but inside enjoying this sophisticated wine. — 13 days ago
Purple tawny, somewhat translucent. Nice fragrant floral nose. Notes of raspberry, ripe rhubarb, Asian spice, some dark soil and some briary brush and wood. Nice mouthfeel. Good balance of fruit and structure. Great expression of Pinot. Just entering a good and likely very long drinking window. — 13 days ago
Black red in colour, with an vivid & fresh aroma of allspice, black pepper, cedar wood, Kirch and ripe blueberries. The fruit a bit in the back yet still crunchy & fresh.
On the palate this shows nice depth & purity to the fruit. Juicy, zippy acidity adds freshness, just the tannins are a bit dry, esp. towards the finish. Not sure they will mellow. (13m oak aging a tad too long?).
Def. a food wine, matched the tuna steak beautifully. — 20 days ago
