Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Deep and structured with both a rich and sappy mouthfeel. Creamy cassis, black cherries, hints of earth and rich tannins with a lingering finish. Drinks wonderful now but has superb aging potential.

Sep 21st, 2018If you open this now, ignore it on Day 1: sure, it's drinkable, but be patient. On Day 2, this is, for my palate, an essentially perfect btl of wine. Paired with seared Picanha on a bed of arugula, just stunning. Intoxicating, perfumed nose, with raspberry coulis, and sandalwood. Palate shows lovely elegant red fruit, some spice, a hint of nuits sauvage herb, and a wondefully finely grained tannic finish. So good.
