So damn good. There is so much elite wine in St. Joseph. Nose is stunning, layered and complex. Like if Sozet made St. Joseph. Olive, gamey meats, mint, dead fresh leaves. Red and black berry fruit. So complex. Deep and ethereal. Amazing fruit intensity. Lipstick like intensity. Palate is masterful. Gorgeous purity, texture and balance. So so juicy and terrific finesse. Just so loosey goosey on the palate. So juicy. Wow. Awesome velvety tannins. Showing youthful, accessible exuberance. Just so good. To be classic, old school, playful and accessible is something. So so precise. This always gets better with air. 9.5 for now. As this airs it gets more structured and the tannins become more prominent but so does the freshness. Concentrated and so so sappy. — 5 months ago
A very nice little Saint Joseph — 6 years ago
Wow. There is nothing like this that I’ve had in the Rhone. The flavor profile is syrah. But the texture and profile is Chambolle. Crazy.
Nose is pressed dried flowers. Lavender. Lilacs. These precocious but elegant berries. Almost like brilliant old school barbera
Palate is so elegantly juicy. Texture to die for. Cherry flower extract. Lilac extract.
Wow. Somehow I feel transported to France. The character is so old school French. So authentic.

Classic Marsanne Roussanne blend from northern Rhone , baking spice nose cardamom, mace, nutmeg. Masked dried fruits like apricots, almonds, nougat, power and restraint. — 4 years ago
Intense and brawny on the nose, with steeped blackcurrant, green peppercorn and lavender, also a strong herbal note. The palate is rich, saturated and has supple tannins but ample grip. A sweet note of vanilla carries through to the long, warming finish. What a wine! — 5 months ago
Good wine. Nice spicy complexity but the mouthfeel was too delicate. — 7 months ago
Solid. Great value N. Rhône wine, captures the Domaine’s style very well. Nicely fruited, all black with riper tones of plum and crushed ripe blackberry, a denser and more concentrated offering, juicy. A kiss of blue fruit pokes out on the palate. Licorice, sweet meat/jerky, mocha, smoke, menthol. Drinking very well in its youth, still has some grip and substance to lay down for a few years. — 3 years ago
Young and needs time to relax. Fruit is ripe and on the jammy side, but in a few years, this will probably show a lot better. — 6 years ago
