Dark and savory, with good sweetness, great acid and length. Tannins and overall structure are pleasant for being a young Cornas. It opens fast in the glass losing some fruit and focus. Still a really nice wine.

Still very youthful & primary. This was highly recommended to me but tonight a decent Cornas that will need more time to show its stuff.

Rich, yet weightless. Deeply fruited, but neither alcoholic nor jammy. Firm but fine tannins and moderate wood application that is definitely at the forefront. There is a good bit of violet and evident white pepper but no recognizable meat/savory/olive/funk. Very clean overall. If Dunnuck gave this a 100, I fear his palate is too far to the SQN/Alban/Saxum side of Syrah. Not a bad thing, and this wine flirts with new world ripeness, especially on the second day, but I expect a bit more meat and rusticity from my Cornas, old school or not. Well balanced and certainly capable of long aging, though. I want to see this one in 15 years.

Layered herbs and spice and dark fruit. Obviously young now, but has fantastic structure to age gracefully.

Delicious rich ruby cherry liqueur Syrah from the ripe 2015 vintage. Accessible now, but will likely improve with age.
