San Giorgio

Ugolforte Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2020

2020 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Shy bouquet. Great melding of flavors already tho. Showing nicely for a prettier, speed bump-free Brunello effort. 3.11.26. — 4 days ago

Piani Barbera d'Alba 2023

We had this wine paired with meat menu including starters with fruity sauce, and cheese plate at the end. Waitress recommended this wine to go along with all the food if we do not prefer the wine pairing. The wine fits perfectly to each dish. Highly recommended! — 2 months ago

Campo San Giorgio Conero Riserva Montepulciano 2013

Revelatory Montepulciano with Italian essence but Bordeaux character. Medium bodied with earthy fruit and restrained tannins, combined with notes of leather and cedar box and a hint of soy sauce. Mouthwatering food wine; the 2013 vintage is definitely ready to enjoy now. First glass was at Mother Wolf in LA (date night with Dreama) and most recently a bottle at home with my own beef stroganoff on a Sunday night. What a way to top off the weekend! — 10 months ago

Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

2nd coravin pour of the day. I had some doubts at first as I thought I had smelled what resembled a tiny TCA taint scent. It blew off after a while. The nose is a bit muted but I can make out cherry, clay, almond, tar and a tiny gamey thing lurking in the back. The palate is showing a great acid drive, blood orange and cherry notes all along, a great tannic acid wall in the rear, as one might be expecting. The finish is long, strong, drying, showing fruits and a noble bitterness touch. Good stuff ! — 22 days ago

Riserva St. Giorgio Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend 2019

St. Giorgio – Chianti Classico Riserva 2019
Tuscany, Italy 🇮🇹 – DOCG

Overview
Made predominantly from Sangiovese, this Chianti Classico Riserva reflects Tuscany’s classic profile with its red-fruit core, oak aging, and elegant structure. The Riserva designation ensures extended aging (at least 24 months), which adds depth and polish to the wine.

Aromas & Flavors
Plenty of ripe red fruits — cherries, raspberries, and strawberries — framed by subtle vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of spice. A light herbal edge ties it back to its Tuscan roots.

Mouthfeel
Medium-bodied with balanced acidity, lightly firm tannins, and a smooth flow through the finish. The oak adds just enough roundness without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.

Food Pairing
Perfect alongside Tuscan classics like bistecca alla fiorentina, pappardelle with wild boar ragu, or aged pecorino. It also pairs nicely with grilled pork chops or tomato-based pasta dishes.

The Verdict
A polished, versatile Chianti Classico Riserva that balances fruit, oak, and structure with finesse. Enjoyable now for its supple fruit and texture, but it also has a few more years of life in the cellar. Cheers!
