Best cab franc EVER! Just beat out Pride and Darioush. Might have to revisit those competitors. Craving chocolate with this one. Could only enhance the flav a flav 😘. Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby/black color with some purple highlights. Aromas of dark fruit, cinnamon, cedar and vanilla. Extremely ripe black and red berry/currant/plum fruit with additional notes of blueberry, dried herbs, and baking spices. Blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, deep dark ruby red, aged for 21 months in French oak (75% new), aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices and herbs. The palate shows blackberry, juicy black cherries and currants, big, full tannins, complex and well balanced.
