Really good! — 17 days ago
Blend of 58% Petit Verdot and 42% Petite Sirah, deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, cigar box and herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plums and currants with, vanilla, herbs and spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, tobacco, cedar and nutty herb spice. Nice! — 2 months ago
Tasting the 2020 Soul of a Lion at Daou in Paso. And coincidentally, we were there on their last weekend as an independent winemaker. A nice goodbye before the corporates take over. Dark and concentrated. Beautiful cab. — a month ago
Full of flavor while subtle at the same time. An easy drinker. One of the best cabs I've had. — a month ago

Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with some Petite Verdot (11%), Merlot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (1%) blended in. Dark ruby (almost purple) color. Intense aromas of cooked black cherry/berry, plums, herbs and spices with a slight hint of menthol. The palate is very fruit forward (same fruits as in the nose) with additional notes of dark chocolate, tobacco, fresh herbs and minerals. Distinct vanilla note on the long finish. Extremely smooth tannins. Juicy and rich. Very well crafted for the price point. — a month ago
A little grape forward but otherwise perfectly hits all the Cabernet flavor and aroma points. — a month ago
