Dark ruby in color. Fabulous nose with hints of cherry, cocoa, clove, and oak. 100% cab, 30 mos in 100% French Oak. Luscious on the palate with lue fruit, blueberry. Well balanced tannins with a long finish. Good oak - tightly grained oak keeps from too much spice. Outstanding. — 3 months ago
Black currant, blackberry, and cherry, complemented by notes of chocolate, tobacco, spicy oak, and hints of lavender and graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich. Espresso, and spices. Great tannins and a long, persistent finish. — 3 months ago
New vintage of this classic Daou blend. Now at 85% Cab Franc this is powerful fruit, dark and dense, but mellow tannins. Drinks beautifully. I am glad I am having this as part of the grand finale before Dry February. 💀😎🍷 — a day ago

Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate; it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black plum, black cherries, and black cardamom with a long finish. This wine is intense and balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 4 days ago
