Coteaux Du Languedoc Les Terrasses Du Larzac, Languedoc

La Pèira

En Damaisèla Terrasses du Larzac Red Rhone Blend 2005

Popped and poured; see my notes from 2017. For real, not much has changed save for the gentle integration of more secondary characteristics. The 2005 “La Pèira” continues to be quite the charmer. A mix of ripe, dried and desiccated dark fruits, tobacco, leather, earth, and warm spices. Tannins are completely integrated. A wonderfully balanced wine and while I would recommend to drink now, it should continue to drink well throughout the remainder of the decade.

For Amy/John visit, found several left over from AA and it’s drinking a mellow well balanced red fruited almost silky textured wine. — 4 months ago
