Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). All the guests loved it. — 5 years ago
Tasted in the spring of 2020 for a remote tasting party (bought 4 bottles then had our friends pick the properly desinfected bottles). Opened a good hour before drinking. Everybody liked it. Nice aromas of black fruits, leather and a little bit of smoke. On sale for under $10, that was a ridiculously good value! — 5 years ago

Fantastic. Really enjoyed the dry herbs notes that gives it a rustic side. Still a well balanced and elegant wine for my taste. — 5 years ago
Nice acidity. Spices and cranberry on the nose. Strong notes of rootbeer on the palate, which I find unpleasant and a defect of this wine. Disappointing. — 5 years ago
This Austrian pinot noir is light and definitely different. On the nose, there's strong notes of conchord grapes and hay. However, the palate is quite rough, with high acidity and tartness. Perhaps that would mellow with age. — 5 years ago
Fruit forward and peppery. Medium body. The flavor profile sits between a southern Rhone and an Italian Sangiovese. Really good value. — 5 years ago

This is our go-to for sushi. Aromatic yet dry enough. A few of of our friends are converts too! — 2 years ago
