1 hour decant. A marvelous dark ruby red color. On the nose: beautiful notes of spiced cherries, vanilla, forest floor, charcuterie, spearment. Taste: smooth, juicy, elegant wine with red tart berries, cedar, orange peel, minerals, and a smokey tea dry finish. YUM! — 24 days ago
Le mere Poulard - Mont Saint Michel. Scallop omelette and poulet supreme. Very good paring. Enjoyed very much. — 20 days ago
Medium plus body, acidity, and tannin. Black cherry, black licorice, sarsaparilla, crushed gravel. Structure. Drinking well at seven years. Should hold this peak for a while but unlikely to get better. — 12 days ago
