My go to Chianti tested side by side with the 18. The wines are getting a little pricy for what they are. The 2019 is more tannic and needs time to come together. It is really an excellent wine. Cherry 🍒 galore, bark, black tea, reminds me of a red burgundy. — a day ago
More notes next bottle. Red bricking at the edge. Sour red cherry. Nice aromatics. Good weight. Medium acidity. The super drying grainy tannins, at this time, renders it off balance. But this is an unbelievable value. More notes with more bottles to follow.

I had read the stellar reviews of this wine and was excited to try it. It definitely met my expectations. The uniqueness of this wine is in the dark baking spices that jump out of the glass along with singed juniper and red flowers. The fruit and oak are present for site, but the non-fruit aromas really shine on this wine. Along with the dark spice and floral notes, leather, tobacco and dried Tuscan herbs are present. Fruit wise we are talking about black cherry and black plum. This wine has a tannic grip in the mouth, but the tannins are pretty rounded and the acidity is medium plus to high. This was an absolutely delicious wine that well represents the power of the 2016 vintage in Chianti. It was better on night two than night one so I anticipate this wine will age beautifully. Will be stocking up on a few more bottles of this for sure. — 11 hours ago
Super classy and fun, does exactly what you want. Maybe not as extravagant as it could be but a real winner. They let the grapes do their thing and didn’t muck with it. A little larger than it could be but super classy — 4 days ago
