Cattaratto grape, 20 year old vines. Plush body, med+ acidity provides balance; wet stone, citrus and tropical aromas and flavor. Excellent. β 5 months ago
Honeyed florals, candied ginger, fennel and crushed green apples form a spicy, inviting bouquet as the 2023 Etna Bianco opens in the glass. Ripe orchard fruit plays against a core of salty minerals and savory spices. The 2023 tapers off perfumed and long, leaving a pleasantly sour citrus tinge. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2024) β 10 days ago
Quite delightful. Crisp and refreshing but not insipid. β a month ago
Really liked this one. Full bodied, lemon minerals. Had it at Misi β 4 months ago
A deep, cloudy orange color in the glass, the 2020 Catarrato Praruar opens with an airy blend of dried apricots, crushed apples and ground ginger. Itβs soft-textured and round, with ripe orchard fruits and a cascade of liquid inner florals that coats the palate with youthful tension. The 2020 tapers off wonderfully fresh, tactile and firm, leaving the mouth watering as hints of candied citrus and sour melon resolve on the close. This is a fantastic vintage of Praruar that can be easily enjoyed by fans of orange wines. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024)

Sipping Fine Wine
Golden lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral herb notes. On the palate flavors of apple and citrus zest, with honeysuckle and savory notes. Medium+ finish, lively crisp acidity, ending with fruit and sweet herb floral character. Nice! β 10 days ago
