Caravan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Group WOTN but I never got this one. By-the-book and quality Napa cab, it was just a bit soup-less. Would go great with a steak or any good food. — 25 days ago

Would be fun to line this up against Darioush.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2016

Fantastic nose. Dark berries and jam just the way I like it. The palate was a bit disappointing at first. Right and out of balance, almost bitter out of the bottle. But by the end it had smoothed out and was more dark fruit with good acid. I bet if we had time to decant first an hour or more it would have opened up. Oddly. — 10 months ago

Cigar box, sweat, tea leaves...kind of like an aging hippie caravan at burning man. But I dig it...some condition issues too sadly-screw auctions. — 5 years ago

Big bold wine with deep tones. Tasted cherry, and earthy flavor. First time drinking this wine, but definitely not the last time. — 3 days ago

A succulent drop on a Sunday afternoon. The oaky, rustic flavours are a combination of last night's residual beer taste on the pallet paired with a touch of ripeness resulting from the half screwed on cap on the 2week old bottle. — 3 years ago

Hoping for a rainy Sunday in which we can treat our pallets to a sultry Spanish red. Any recommendations?
