This is a nice and easy drinking sparking wine from Italy.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate, tangy and engaging.

Showing citrus, green apples, herbs, earth, yeast and minerals.

Good by itself or with food. Needs 30 minutes to open up properly, so be patient. I've had it before, but never gave it the chance to breathe. Worth the wait.

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, vanilla, spice/pepper, chocolate, minerals and leather. On the palate, anise, olive, minerals, cherry, vanilla, saline, milk chocolate, velvety texture, long finish. Tannins are still working pretty hard but not too overpowering. — 2 months ago
