Roumier particularly crushed ‘17. Even the Bussiere which is a bottling that IMO takes forever to be drinkable opens up so quick in the decanter gaining most notably in density and texture after a somewhat thin first pour. It’s bright, vibrant and pure with layers of black and blue fruit, dark cocoa, spices and earthy soil tones. The palate is seamlessly balanced, deep and expansive with fine grained tannins and a long, lifted and elegant finale. A fantastic vintage for this bottling that is already in a great spot but with of course, its best years ahead. — 8 days ago
No formal notes ….Medium straw colour . Quite intense slightly smoky lemon peel , flinty , oyster shell nose . On the palate quite surprising intensity and excellent length , refreshing acidity . Nice yellow fruits and roundness allied to great freshness . Drinking surprisingly well , though better in 5-10 years and should hold for a further 5-10. — 10 days ago
This bottle was pretty. Concentrated fruit. — 5 days ago
I don’t see this getting any better at this point. Some slight Brett that blew away after being open for a little bit. Fruit is still present with some secondary aromas and flavors on the nose and palate. — 6 days ago
Found a decent priced bottle deep in Bandon. Decanted for 2 hours. Beautifully perfumes nose of red fruit, spice but the palate and finish was muted. Opened up slowly over 4 hours. Starting to show it’s darker characteristics. But still elegant like true as DRC. Saved a glass to try the next day and it eventually balanced but kinda disappeared. — 21 days ago

Tawny color, translucent and light in the glass. A killer nose if there ever was one. Notes of cherries, tan spice, rhubarb, dark soil and sandalwood. Has "the funk". In the mouth it's so rich and silky. Very refined. Killer juice. — 14 days ago
