2013. Part of a 6 for $60 bag my wife bought at one of our favorite wine shops years ago and once again were were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. We would not have guessed Sauvignon Blanc if tasted blind, as it had really nice stone fruit aromas and flavors with medium acidity. — 5 years ago
2019 vintage. Amazing old vine Carignan (80%) and Grenache blend from the Cévennes, harvested overripe according to the website. However it is not at all overly jammy. Dark red with purplish rim. Intense perfume of Amarena cherries, blackberries and a hint of thyme. Full-bodied with sweet ripe black fruit, good acidity and a long spicy finish. In my experience Carignan needs old vines to become special and this would be a good example. Great value at 22 euro. — 6 years ago
Very round blueberry and some chewy stem. Hints of leather, garrigue and mint. This biodynamic Syrah, Cab Sauv, Grenache blend from the Cévennes region of Languedoc is light and lively on the palate. More of summer swig than a red meat kind of red. — 6 years ago
Léger, agréable. Top! Avec des amis de l'ifs. Apporte par Bertrand — 9 years ago
Big. Complex. Lots of flavors. Dark. Smooth finish. — 10 years ago
Great effort from a domaine on the rise. 80 / 20 Syrah / vio. Textured, detailed and super elegant. An ephemeral wine that belies its sudiste roots. Leaves an impression. If this is the future of wine from the gard / Herault, we’re all in good hands — 3 years ago

Equilibré, fortes odeurs de framboise et réglisse à la fin. Pas envahissant du tout en bouche — 10 years ago
A $12 French Chardonnay. Un-oaked, IGP Ardèche, which is northern Rhone valley, west bank. Light greenish straw, and a surprisingly meaty nose: creamy mineral, green and golden apple, the slightest brush of lime, and Asiago cheese bagels. Yes, that. On the palate it's wonderfully clear and poignant. Acid is medium, no RS whatsoever, and the bracing fruitiness of the Chardonnay grape, grown on the quick-draining limestone foothills of the Cévennes mountains, shines through. The richness remains: the taste is something between green apple, pear, and sun-ripened citrus. It finishes clean, but somehow lingers pleasantly too. The juicy fruit on the palate is intoxicating. This is balanced and engaging, and a tour de force of the Chardonnay grape freed from the much-maligned oak that (while potentially delicious) turns off many white wine drinkers. $12? No brainier. Buy. Drink. — 10 years ago
