Suck a Rock Red Rhône Blend 2018

Having made my way through the line of Bocks, Suck a Rock is probably my favorite - it’s uncomplicated and balanced - dark berries and minerals.

Raspberry, blackberry, violets, chalk dust.

Clean and focused.

À la Fraîche... Chardonnay

If you sniff hard, you might find the kind of smoky tropical aromatics of wild mezcal. Flint and green banana. Then a creamy spectrum of grassy green, yellow lemon, orange guava. — 10 days ago

Reviens Gamay 2019

My favorite of the Bocks. Raw sour gamay loaded with VA where everything works just enough. Fresh, pulpy fruit flesh with lots to sniff. Flavors of macerated strawberries and sour red blackberries. — 4 months ago

La P'tite Goutte Grenache 2019

100% Grenache from the Ardeche. Candied fruit, watermelon agua fresca, Herbes de Provence. A little lighter bodied than I expected but enjoyable. Takes a chill well. I had this with pot roast which was too heavy of a pairing for this wine. Would have be a good wine to enjoy chilled with dinner al fresco, beautiful weather, and some nice food off the grill. — 6 months ago
