Dry left bank Bordeaux style blend from Chile. Dry, and tannic. Not very green at all. One of my faves — 15 days ago
Great summer wine & with food. Well balanced with noses of pear & floral notes. Good acidity & medium finish. — 2 months ago
Very good French white! Honey and citrus notes. Bought at Costco. Should definitely buy again! — 3 months ago
This is a nice entry level Bordeaux from the Rothschild family.
Full bodied and rich, with medium plus acidity.
Very dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Showing blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, chocolates, oak, light vanilla, earth, licorice, leather, pencil lead, peppercorn, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and black tea.
Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old is starting to drink nicely now, and will be good in the next 5 years.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly. A bit unbalanced, but very enjoyable, even by itself.
A good wine to pair with food too. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

This is the 2019 Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite Los Vascos Cromas Carménère Gran Reserva. From Valle de Colchagua, Chile.
The nose has notes of cherry, strawberry, unripe plum, spice, herbaceous notes, vanilla, green bell pepper and a granite minerality.
On the palate is sour cherry, raspberry, roasted red pepper, herbaceous, green peppercorn, and a granite minerality.
This wine is medium to full body and is very green with vibrant medium + acidity and medium + to high grainy tannins which leaves you with a long herbaceous sour red fruit gravelly finish. It is really hard with this one to get past the green notes of this wine. All the structure is there but either you decant for a long time or let it age for many years. Have a wonderful weekend and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 months ago
A lot of dark fruits on the nose, good balance on the palate, medium low tannin, good wine. — 14 minutes ago
First taste of this and was very very elegant. Expressive nose. Excited to drink again with more age — a month ago
Last night I opened the 2018 Los Vascos Cromas Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva. A Domaines Barons De Rothschild-Lafite from Valle de Colchagua, Chile. A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Carménère.
On the nose was black cherry, blackberry, plum, mint, black currant, herbaceous, chocolate and earth.
On the palate there was black cherry, blackberry, black currant, baking spice, black pepper, chocolate, graphite and dusty soil.
This is a full bodied wine with a smooth plush mouthfeel medium+ acidity and medium + fine tannins that has a long dark fruit crushed gravel finish. A very nice wine and great QPR. Please enjoy the week ahead and try and be good friend. Stay safe and healthy and we will prosper innthe week ahead. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 months ago
