A winemaker whom I first discovered at the one and only Au Bon Manger in Reims during a trip to Champagne, one to watch, Aurelien Lurquin. Unsurprisingly, his wines have all but disappeared in states. While my favorite cuvée will likely always be his 100% Meunier, Crayeres du Levant, 100% Pinot Noir Les Forcières is a gorgeous BdN. It’s powerful, rich and mineral with super floral aromatics and a stunningly luxurious texture. A beautiful young Champagne that there will simply never be enough of! — 8 months ago
Amazing scents of honey / peach / sweetness, and refreshing to drink. Perfect for the summer. Produced in the hometown of our french artist friend! — 6 months ago

I’m such a big fan of these wines. They definitely make my excitement level rise each and every time. Enjoyed as a birthday wine and it didn’t disappoint.
Deep maroon with violet specks. The nose is full of fruit at first with so much raspberry and cherry. Nighttime forest aromas begin to peak with shrubbery and mushrooms taking over. Medium bodied and very lively, it’s a youthful Burg meant to drink now, while still possessing nice depth. More than just an “everyday Burgundy”, this is good stuff. — 9 months ago
Just great. The fruit is just perfect, cranberry and cherry, with a tannic finish. The nose is perfect, as if berries met flowers. — 7 months ago
Huge nose of clay, creosote, granite and blueberries. A pastille like blueberry effect. Very compelling. Palate it rich and fresh at the same time. Juicy and sleek with blackberry fruit and pastille but ultra fresh and energetic. Long finish that clings on the palate. Excellent. — 9 months ago
Deep violet color. Heady, spice-accented red and dark berry aromas, along with suggestions of smoky bacon and licorice. Juicy and lithe on the palate, offering bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors that put on weight as the wine opens up. Shows fine definition and spicy cut on a long, juicy finish that features gently gripping tannins and a lingering suggestion of cracked pepper. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, December 2022)

Hits the spot. Lovely blackberry and blueberry, soft garrigue, olive brine. Fantastic acidity, salinity and minerality, slightly chalky tannin on the finish. Great typicity and in an excellent place. — 6 months ago
