Really liked this wine. Deep intense color. Velvety body. Floral, violets on the nose, love deep smooth palate. Tannins weren't crazy. More complete if tannins were more prominent. — 6 months ago
First #Mayolet #wine I can remember having. Deep crimson color, almost opaque. Austere at opening, funky, earth floor, leather, wet red roses. With time a front to back palate of delicate finishing with cranberry, mild cherry. Straightforward and a little unexciting. Needs food. Opened 12/6/17 — a year ago
Nice and zippy. White grapefruit rind. Lemony. High acidity and savory. Recommending with cheese, cheese sauce or dish. — 6 months ago
Great #syrah #wine from #SonomaCounty. Dark olive opaque color, deep blue. Not veru fragrant, even with time open. Palate is much more satisfying with light body, good acid, quick sharp tannin. All around character is there, but quick in each regard. Hoping for more lasting attributes. Opened 12/9/17 — a year ago
Great wine! Grapey opening to "tea like" tannins. Dry, boysenberry like. Huge value. — 6 months ago
