The top German Pinots continue to be 🔥. Absolutely gorgeous black cherry, black tea, dried lavender, lithe and balanced, bordering on generous but still enough structure to hold it together and provide longevity

Gorgeous nose. So perfumed. Big ripe cherries, dried flowers, intense limestone footprint, some dried leaves, spectacular, palate is classic Schulen. So elegant and pure with succulent cherry and cranberry fruit. Lip smacking and fresh with some good grippy ripe tannin that will ensure nice aging. Lovely finish that just pushes and pushes fruit. A bigger more structured Schulen than 13 or 14. Will benefit from 4-5 years.

Need some time to open up, to show the brilliant spicy / raspberry compote - with a pinch of nutmeg, cedar wood, just a hint of cinnamon and black pepper. So enticing, so juicy & fresh and yet, elegant.
Young & joyful on the palate, with nicely polished grippy tannins, juicy cherry acidity and an overall very elegant, velvety mouthfeel. Shows a bit of nice structure for a Pinot. While drinking beautifully right now,, I’d love to see this in 4-5 years.
A truly lovely wine.

What a killer nose. Beautiful barnyard, slightly funky. On the palate this was closed off at first, but after an hour or so of air time opened up beautifully. Tart cherries, eucalyptus. Amazing

Lovely. Touch of acidity but releases soft fruit and mouthful feel on finish
