Pretty intense as soon as you open the bottle, very strong with a good deal of bite on the end. Ended up drinking pretty well, not an easy wine overall though

Reddish with slight purple in color. Leather, cocoa, plum, and some vanilla on the nose. The palate bursts with jammy blackberries. There is some spice but mostly fruit.

I like Yalumba. Their Shiraz and Grenache blends are always pretty good, inexpensive and consistent. Nice when you just want a sipper and donāt want to think about it
