Cherry, raspberry, cranberry, current, oak, vanilla, smoke and hints of tobacco. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

The winery was named after the Willakenzie soil on which the vineyards are planted to convey the influence that the soil imparts on the wine's flavors and aromas. Ruby red with aromas of red fruits and floral spice notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with pepper spice. Well balanced with good acidity on lingering finish with a spicy earthy ending. Good value wine from OR.
