First vintage of this Jadot outfit. Dark cherries, crushed marble, hint lime, cigar box, black tea. Subsequent vintages could never match this 2013. Who knows may be legendary wine maker Jacques Lardière was involved or they had better oak barrels shipped from France. 13.1%. Really a stand out for this wine from Oregon. Drink up at this point. — a month ago
Pale yellow. Aromas of pear, apple, honey, citrus, pineapple, and minerals. A burst of citrus (lemon/lime) and bits of toast on the palate. Dry, Medium body and acidity. Nicely balanced- hints of oak, but still keeps an elegance about it. I enjoyed the layers and complexity of this one. 2018 -ages well! — 4 months ago

The dark-fruited ripe side of Shea. — 4 months ago
The 2021 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton is savory and sweet, with a blend of grilled herbs and flowery underbrush giving way to plum sauce and dark chocolate. It’s soft-textured and round, with lifting acidity and ripe wild berry fruits contrasted by hints of inner sage. The 2021 finishes with medium length and a subtle tinge of spice, ending with a trace of black currant. (Eric Guido, Vinous, August 2024)
