Shea Vineyard is in Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Pomegranate, black cherry and blue fruits, with spice, cola and pepper. — 4 months ago
Light and smooth finish. Hint of sweet fruit flavor. Loved it! — 3 months ago
Round and bigger than many other wines of this region. — 2 months ago
Vineyard sits on Willakenzie soils in the heart of the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits and spice, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with tobacco, herbs and earthy tones. Full-bodied, fine tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with big earthy spice notes. Nice now! Will age a bit! — 3 months ago
This is drinking beautifully at the moment. Nose is showing cola and intense cherry sap, along with moist underbrush and gravelly scents. Some sweet graham cracker spice. Velvety textured, it shows more stony minerality on the palate than the nose, but with nicely concentrated, crisp, ripe cherry fruit as well. Terrific wine. — 5 months ago
"Odedi"
Ruby in color with light intensity and a wide reddish/ cloudy rim.
Light nose of strawberries, raspberries, sweet cherries, light oak and spices.
Medium in body and soft with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with bing cherries, raspberries, strawberries, light wood, herbs, light vegetables, spices and coffee.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and raspberries.
This young Pinot Noir from Oregon is starting to drink nicely, but needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
This Single Vineyard is easy drinking, nicely balanced and elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime.
Not overly complex at this point, but would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.
Good by itself or with food. I gave it a light chill and had it with hard cheeses.
A small production of only 269 cases. Unfined and unfiltered.
12.9% alcohol by volume.
89 points.
