Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2016

The ‘Willamette Valley’ Pinot Noir by the talented Erik Kramer is a fantastic new wine from this storied Oregon winery. The nose is loaded with red fruits that combine with lighter orange zest and peat moss undertones that round out the enticing aromatics. The texture here is really good, as is the bright, mouth-watering acidity. Red fruits dance with citrus tones and minerals on the palate. Seriously good, enjoy this beautiful new wine over the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 92

Reserve Pinot Noir 2008

Took about an hour to open up. Big dark fruit on the nose. Palate has lots of tannins, cherry, blackberry and a bit of alcohol. Still a bit acidic. — 9 months ago

Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2017

Beautiful balance of fruit, bright acidity and phenolic bitterness. Round mid palate with lean, dry finish. The concentration and focus are quite impressive for the quality level. — 3 months ago

Lingua Franca

Avni Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2016

Bright medium yellow in color with aromas of lemon, green apple, and white flowers. The palate is driven by racy acidity and stony minerality. Combines fruit from predominantly Nekia soils in Salem’s Bunker Hill, Eola-Amity Hills including Lingua Franca Estate Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton, and a small contribution from Laubejac Vineyard near Monmouth in Willakenzie soils. Very pleasant entry level wine. 13% ABV. $35. — a year ago
