Oct 30th, 2017Just wow. My usual, instant hook: the chalky, from limestone, texture. A very present, but elegant acidity with endless development over the few minutes that it lasted in my glass... Thank you @Fritz Wittkowski for bringing this baby out at a meeting. Send me another in 5 years time! Seriously deserving of this 10.

The wine was bright medium lemon in colour and offered white flowers, apple, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple and mineral notes as well as hints of tea and honey on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed apple, lemon, grapefruit, peach, some pineapple and intense mineral notes as well as hints of honey, green tea and black tea, paired with high acidity and very good length. Balanced, fresh and clean. A great Riesling! 92
