A great and stunningly pure Riesling from the sometimes tricky 2014 vintage. Still unevolved and backward but there's plenty of structure underneath, meaning that patience is required, at least a few years.

Light golden color, intensely flavorful, almost overwhelming. Very dry on the palate, with notes of Lemon, lemon pithe, mineral. Vibrant acidity with a Bitter aftertaste.

Rich, unctuous and concentrated dry Riesling, but - kudos to the 2008 acidity - by no means flabby. Great tension, slatey minerals and deep orange fruit notes (tangerine, peach and guave). A very delicate hint of savoury crustaceans really adds to the complexity! Beautiful wine.
