Love the ode to #Aesop on the label. While #Baden is technically a warmer region that #Pfalz, found this wine to offer more warm characters on both #nose @ #palate. Still a great #spätburgunder from #germany. should be my go to for #pinot !

An eye opener here and Spätburgunder continues to surprise me at every turn. Dark cherries, baking spices and a nice long finish.

Nov 19th, 2016Great Vintage for this wine! This is the entry Level Spätburgunder but it tastes like a much bigger wine. Very structured, great acidity, sour cherries and red currants on the fruit side, some tobacco as well. Good length - what a value this wine is in 2013!

Awesome stuff for your daily dose of pinot noir. Light red fruit, structure, hint of spices, length, stays fresh. Delicious. And it's only the entry level Becker...
