Langenlois Grüner Veltliner

Vintage 2019 | old vines cuvée | my winesociety friends made a deep dive in Grüner Veltliner thanks to @Rob van Kalmthout. The over all quality was very high. I smelled pear and almonds in the smell, also minerality. Very intens. A beautiful taste with beautiful acidity and nice bitters in de aftertaste.

Gruner with intensity set on “max.” Very concentrated, cranked acidity. Lemon, pepper and floral aromatics, some fennel seed, pear and apricot. Did I mention the savage levels of acidity? Not a complaint mind you but maybe another year or two could help settle and integrate things

No notes. Entry level grüner veltliner from Bründlmayer. Lunch wine in our favourite food court in Warsaw. Enjoyed alongside a squid burger 😍. Lean, citrusy and green apple-y on the nose. Great acid drive and texture.

Floral and white fruit aromas and flavors, nice weight and balancing acidity, long finish, excellent Gruner Veltliner!!

If every supermarket had this on shelf for 9€, the world would be a happy place ;)
Floral with green apples, underripe apricots, white pepper. Very GrüVe.
On the palate racy, juicy, zingy, fresh.
Light yet with enough substance plus good purity and a peppery, salty twist towards the finish. Plus for the brilliant vintage.
Delightful.

Last sip at room temp was the best.

Fresh. Very typical of a Gruner. 2015. Paired with Spicy Thai curry and it was Devine..

Lättklunkat med finess. Päron, vitpeppar. Lagom syra.

One of my favourites. Bartlett pears, honeydew and white pepper.
