16’ Walter Scott Seven Springs . Outstanding..
Delicate & savory, with smoky cherry and green tea aromas. Chewy raspberry, underbrush and spice flavors. Refined tannins. I’ve got to fine some 2015! Wait a few years.

The nose was remarkably fresh, exotic and floral, with a mix of cherry and strawberry fruit, wild herbs and spice. On the palate, I found silky textures offset by vibrant acidity, which gave great energy to it’s zesty red and blue berry fruits, sweet inner florals and spice. The finish saturated the palate with fruit, acid and tannin, providing a stunning long, balanced and spicy finish.

We had the 2014 Vintage on 2/12-13/21. Red cherry and minerals on the bouquet. Cherry, current and mild spice on the palate. This is a medium bodied Burgundian style Pinot Noir. This is a very good Oregonian Pinot.

Mild floral notes on nose. Lighter side of medium body, dry, some acidity. Raspberry, strawberry, cranberry. Very nice.

Good but not exceptional American Pinot Noir. Leave it open an hour before consuming and the harshness in the finish will disappear. Nice cherry fruit up front but a little rough in the finish. Likely this wine will be considerably better after another two years in bottle.
