Medium Ruby with juicy red fruit, cacao and sweet herb spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry flavors with integrated oak, herb tea, forest floor and cacao. Fine savory soft tannins on a good structure on a long ending with oak, fruit and earthy character. Very Nice!

Vivid Ruby with juicy red fruit, cacao and pronounced herb spices. On the palate bold flavors of raspberry and cherry flavors with integrated oak, herb spice tea, forest floor and cacao. Fine savory tannins on a good structure on a long ending with toasty oak, fruit and spicy earthy character. Note spiciness calmed a bit 45 minutes after opening. Very Nice!

From Clos Pepe, Radian, Fiddlestix & Bentrock vineyards, aged for 10 months in French oak (about 45% new), aromas of ripe red berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with notes of tea and pepper tied in smoky oak. Fine tannins, nicely balanced long finish ending with a fruit and sweet mineral character.

This was a fine, well-made and refreshing wine. Great flavor, and it went well with our dill-roasted salmon. Nice forest floor nose, lots of ripe fruit, everything in its place.

I've had a lot of Walt Pinot's and this one was not my favorite. Still some brightness with red cherry, baking spices and floral tea's but the mid palate left me looking for more. A decent lingering finish but the alcohol dominates. Could have been an off bottle.

Surprisingly good for a Pinot. Smooth, fuller-bodied, with a hint of spice.

You can tell this is made by a Cali Cab producer. This is thick and the nose dark and brooding: dark fruit, big hit of white pepper. Even after 2 days and a few hours in an open bottle the tannins are grippy and acidity sharp. Palate isn’t much different with dark red fruit and loads of white pepper, some tartness, raspberry seeds. This needs plenty of time and may reward.
