Medium gold. Nice weight. Piercing fruity nose. Notes of spicy apricot, gravel stone, high-pitched Meyer lemon, a little vanilla and some fresh ocean breeze. Nice texture in the mouth. Very rich. Long finish. Top notch Chablis, still early in its life; can improve with more age I think.

Yellow gold. Good weight. Fruit forward nose. Lemon curd, apricot, white clay, cardamom and powdered stone. Rich and fat. Has the stuffing for many years of future enjoyment.

Excellent bottle. Started off with hints reduction, sulfur and gun flint. Evolved into intense fruit of golden apple, pear and honey with white flowers.

Another Dead Soldier from 2002 chez Dauvissat. Easily the most problematic vintage I have encountered. Coq au Vin Jaune(Dauvissat '02). Painful to type.

This had totally avoided the pre-mox problem. At 16 years old, it was certainly mature but it was fresh, nuanced and complex. The maturity showed most in how rounded it had become. Really great stuff!

n splendid condition, this wine just rips. Nose is citrus and flowers, there’s a thickness to the palate and lots of candied lemon peel with some minerals and chalk, gentle integrated acidity and a classy finish that just echoes. Why we cellar white Burgundy is evident in this glass.
